By law, the development large software systems by Government organizations is required to be subjected to Quality ِAssurance and Quality Control(QAQC) through third agencies
At the start of the Geoportal Phase II development, GCS has assigned the Quality Geospatial Engineering Company and Geodan, hereafter named “the Consortium”, to monitor and audit the development of Phase II of the Geoportal. The consortium has performed the QAQC project in the first half of 2015. The aims and objectives of the QAQC project are to ensure the development of a high quality Geoportal that provides high quality data and services to users and stakeholders
The project uses the series of standards ISO/IEC 25000, also known as SQuaRE (System and Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation) as a framework for the Evaluation of Software Product Quality of the GCS Geoportal Phase II.
